SUMMARY:Mitzvah Clowning @ Community Synagogue of Rye
DESCRIPTION:Areyvut is pleased to offer Mitzvah Clowning as an elective for
  students in the 8th and 9th graders at Community Synagogue of Rye. The pa
 rticipants will learn about bikkur cholim (visiting the sick)\, kavod habr
 iyot (human dignity)\, learn what Mitzvah Clowning is all about\, how to m
 ake balloon animals\, apply clown make-up and put into action what they le
 arn by visiting senior citizens and children. We are thrilled to partner w
 ith the Community Synagogue of Rye and are confident it will be a meaningf
 ul and exciting program for all those involved.\n\nAreyvut will be facilit
 ating this program on Monday evenings from 6:30-8:00 pm at the synagogue.
 \n\nProgram dates: March 3\, 10 \, 17\, 24 and 31 and April 7\n\nThis cour
 se is part of the Westchester Jewish Teen Learning Initiative (WJTLI)\, 
 coordinated by The Jewish Education Project with generous funding from UJA
