SUMMARY:Introduction to TVAC & EMS in Bergen County
DESCRIPTION:Areyvut is pleased to partner with Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance 
 Corps. (TVAC) on a new free series for high school students.  The goal of
  this series is to meaningfully engage teens\, teach them skills that can 
 profoundly impact them in general and in their work babysitting\, facilita
 ting youth or groups in shul and in camp and simultaneously build TVAC's c
 apacity and pipeline.  No prior experience necessary.  Students can att
 end all sessions or individual sessions as their schedule permits.\n\nSess
 ion 1: What is TVAC?  This session will cover what TVAC does\, the diffe
 rence between EMTs and paramedics and how they work together in Bergen Cou
 nty\, how EMTs work together with the hospitals to provide the best possib
 le patient care and what else TVAC does besides providing emergency medica
 l services.  This session will also include information on how to get inv
 olved in TVAC for those that do not want to become EMTs or ride on the amb
 ulance.  Additionally\, those in attendance will receive a tour of TVAC's
  headquarters and TVAC's ambulances.  At the end of this session attendee
 s will have the opportunity for a Q and A and meet and greet with some of 
 TVAC's leadership.\n\nThe additional sessions will be held on May 18\, May
  25 and June 1.\n\nThe program is free and we encourage you to register be
 low so that we know who is attending and be adequately prepared.\n\nIf you
