SUMMARY:H.O.P.E. 2020 Session 2: Determine Area of Focus 
DESCRIPTION:Due to COVID-19 and the Coronavirus pandemic this and all in pe
 rson programs have been canceled or postponed until further notice. A wid
 e array of resources are available at http://bit.ly/2wU5CTS. \n\nAreyvut
  is pleased to once again offer H.O.P.E. (Helping Organizations Provide Es
 sentials)\, a Jewish Teen Philanthropy program to 7th graders at Yeshivat 
 Noam in Paramus\, NJ.\n\nParticipants contribute $100 and work as a board 
 to determine community needs\, develop a mission and ultimately allocate t
 hose funds. They will impact each other\, the community and learn and deve
 lop skills that encourage them to give thoughtfully throughout their lives
 .\n\nSince 2007\, Areyvut’s Jewish Teen Philanthropy programs have engag
 ed more than 245 participants\, allocated $49\,700 to over 30 non-profits.
 \n\nWe are thrilled to once again partner with Yeshivat Noam on this excit
 ing program and are confident it will be a meaningful and exciting program
  for all those involved.\n\nSession 2:Determine Area of Focus \n\nProgram
  participants will be presented with a vast array of potential areas of fo
 cus ranging from education to hunger and poverty to the environment.  Stu
 dents will work collaboratively to determine the area they would like to f
 ocus on.\n\nTo explore bringing philanthropy and/or other Areyvut programs
