SUMMARY:H.O.P.E. 2019 Session 2: Area of Focus & Mission Statement
DESCRIPTION:Areyvut is pleased to once again offer H.O.P.E. (Helping Organi
 zations Provide Essentials)\, a Jewish Teen Philanthropy program to 7th gr
 aders at Yeshivat Noam in Paramus\, NJ.\n\nParticipants contribute $100 an
 d work as a board to determine community needs\, develop a mission and ult
 imately allocate those funds. They will impact each other\, the community 
 and learn and develop skills that encourage them to give thoughtfully thro
 ughout their lives.\n\nSince 2007\, Areyvut’s Jewish Teen Philanthropy p
 rograms have engaged more than 240 participants\, allocated $48\,100 to ov
 er 30 non-profits.\n\nWe are thrilled to once again partner with Yeshivat 
 Noam on this exciting program and are confident it will be a meaningful an
 d exciting program for all those involved.\n\nSession #2: Area of Focus &a
 mp\; Mission Statement\n\nProgram participants will be presented with a va
 st array of potential areas of focus ranging from education to hunger and 
 poverty to the environment.  Students will work collaboratively to determ
 ine the area they would like to focus on and develop a mission statement.
   This mission statement will then be utilized by the students in determi
 ning the type of organization(s) they will potentially support financially
