SUMMARY:Don't Just Count the Days\, Let the Days Count
DESCRIPTION:Tuesday\, March 30\, 2010\nDON'T JUST COUNT THE DAYS\, LET THE 
 DAYS COUNT.\nOn the second night of Passover\, Jewish people around the wo
 rld will begin counting the 49 Days of the Omer. It is during this time th
 at Jews rededicate themselves to Torah and middot (good deeds) in preparat
 ion for Shavuot\, beginning on the 49th day\, commemorating Moshe receivin
 g the Ten Commandments.\n\nIt is during this time that Areyvut would like 
 to unveil our newest fundraising initiative\, "Don't just count the days\,
  let the days count". It is our hope that throughout these 49 days\, we ca
 n rely on you\, to contribute to Areyvut to allow us to continue our impor
 tant work. From "Make a Difference" Day to Mitzvah Clowning to our Summer
  Internship Program\, our work is meaningful and making in impact on commu
 nities near and far. We hope you take this opportunity to make the days co

 port Areyvut\n\n1. Our mission touches on the core Jewish values of chesed
  (kindness)\, tzedakah (charity) and tikkun olam (social action).\n\n2. Fr
 om "Make a Difference" Day to Hands-on Chesed Fairs\, we create innovative
  and meaningful programs.\n\n3. Our newest initiative\, Mitzvah Clowning\,
  has enabled us to bring joy and smiles to dozens of seniors.\n\n4. We cre
 ate leaders through Jewish teen philanthropy programming and our summer in

  teachers to research important causes in their community.\n\n8. Our progr
 ams engage people in their community's needs.\n\n9. With your support\, we
  can share our knowledge with others at conferences about service learning
 \, Jewish communal issues\, Jewish education and more.\n\n10. We're good p
 eople.\n\n11. When you give to Areyvut\, it makes an impact...every dollar
  makes a difference.\n\n12. We work with Bnai Mitzvah students and their f
 amilies to make their celebration meaningful through chesed work.\n\n13. W
 e update our website frequently in order to keep you informed about our pr

 c program or project that interests you.\n\n15. We support Israel by partn
 ering with many Israel based organizations.\n\n16. We highlight the inspir
 ing work of teenagers through our annual Bnai Mitzvah Video Essay Contest.
 \n\n17. The programs we create and facilitate lead teens into action in th
 eir community and globally.\n\n18. Our programs are individualized to meet
  the needs of each client.\n\n19. We are team players and partner with num
 erous organizations to capitalize on our shared resources.\n\n20. Areyvut'
 s Summer Internship Program introduces high school and college students to
  nonprofit work and fosters an atmosphere of acceptance and collaboration.
 \n\n21. We need your help.\n\n22. We turn one time volunteer experiences i
 nto lifelong commitments.\n\n23. We share our resources through our weekly
  blog posts.\n\n24. Our YouTube videos documenting out programs and projec
 ts brings smiles to the faces of all who watch them.\n\n25. We connect Bna
 i Mitzvah celebrants with organizations in need\, enabling them to make an
  incredible impact on the lives of others.\n\n26. Areyvut is a lot of fun.

 a Day" is distributed to hundreds of people worldwide.\n\n28. By supportin
 g Areyvut\, you bring our programming to the mainstream\, enabling us to g
 et more involved on a national and global level.\n\n29. Teens that attend 
 our programs are instilled with a lifelong passion for chesed\, tzedakah a

 ram\, we provide teenagers and adults with the skills to give the gift tha

 uters\, we cannot type our e-Newsletter.\n\n34. Our work crosses the conti
 nent...college students from Detroit\, Seattle\, Memphis San Diego and Atl
 anta have interned with us.\n\n35. We make Judaism relevant for children\,
  teenagers and adults of all affiliations.\n\n36. The Areyvut website prov
 ides resources for Jewish educators\, parents and teachers.\n\n37. With yo
 ur help\, we could do so much more.\n\n38. Areyvut works with Jewish organ
 izations as well as organizations in the broader community.\n\n39. Areyvut
 's e-Newsletter is chock full of information about our programming and way
 s to make a significant impact on the world.\n\n40. We highlight local\, n
 ational and international organizations in need on our website to get othe
 rs involved with their important work.\n\n41. Areyvut staff and interns pr
 actice what we preach by volunteering year round.\n\n42. We consult free o
 f charge with Jewish organizations\, schools\, synagogues and community ce
 nters\, regardless of affiliation.\n\n43. As a result of Areyvut's Summer 
 Internship Program the Jewish communal and educational world have gained h
 ighly trained and responsible professionals.\n\n44. We connect service lea
 rning with classroom learning seamlessly.\n\n45. Your support enables us t
 o underwrite Areyvut programs for schools\, synagogues and community cente
