The Gemara (Talmud) tells us that “Ju st as the Beit HaMikdash was destroyed through sinat chinam (baseless hatr ed)\, it will only be rebuilt through ahavat chinam (actively loving other s freely without judgement).”\n\nIt is Areyvut’s mission to actively e ncourage such acts of love- locally\, nationally and around the world. We are pleased to offer families volunteer opportunities this week including this one in conjunction with the Jewish Family &\; Children’s Service s of Northern New Jersey.\n\nWe will be sorting\, stocking and organizing shelves at the JFCS Corner Market and decorating bags that they will fill with food for area children.
