 atter where you live\, what your personal beliefs are or whom you interact
  with on a day-to-day basis\, it is clear that the world needs more kindne
 ss. We need ways to appreciate one another and to actively help make the w
 orld a better\, nicer\, more compassionate place.\n\nOn Sunday\, April 2\,
  as part of Areyvut's 13th National Mitzvah Day in partnership with Good D
 eeds Day\, Areyvut invites schools\, synagogues\, families\, community org
 anizations and individuals to fill the day with kindness. Areyvut is a non
 -profit organization whose mission is to empower people to infuse their li
 ves with the core Jewish values of chesed (kindness)\, tzedakah (charity) 
 and tikkun olam (social justice). Areyvut's National Mitzvah Day is the pe
 rfect opportunity to actively give to your community and actively make a d
 ifference. We ask that you commit to service programs and acts of kindness
  at specific times so that on April 2 we can facilitate kindness continuou
 sly for an entire 24 hour period.\n\nWe offer you four ways to be involved
  in this unbelievable kindness opportunity. You can participate\, plan\, p
 artner and pledge.\n\nParticipate by selecting an idea from this list and 
 doing that act of kindness on April 2.\n\nPlan a program for your communit
 y. Use this planning unit and hands on projects to develop a program to me
 et the needs of your community. These materials provide ideas and resource
 s for all ages to help you meaningfully join this effort.\n\nPartner with 
 us and help us engage your family\, friends\, colleagues and network in th
 is program.\n\nPledge your financial support and help us actively add kind
 ness to the world.\n\nThis world cannot be a better place without you.\nPl
